There goes a winter’s worth of easing off of my caffeine dependency.
I’m kind of really excited about this. My stitches came out yesterday, so I was finally able to wash my foot for the first time in two weeks. There’s still some swelling and lots of bruising but my big toe and pinkie toe are finally, you know, straight. Sure, my feet are now different sizes, but by the end of the year I’ll be able to wear nice things! Like flats and maybe even heels! And by extension, dresses and skirts!
(I wonder how many followers I’ll lose for posting feet.)

Here, have a picture of my foot. I was lying in bed. My leg and ab muscles are sore and I can’t sleep on my side. The anesthetic shot wore off last night so Vicodin doesn’t get rid of all the pain anymore. Icing helps.
I get to do this again in June.
The apricot tree in my backyard is really confused. So is every other deciduous tree in San Gabriel Valley, and that’s because it’s December and highs for this week are around, oh, 70°F.
